Dozens of Clare athletics will be making their way to Offaly this weekend for the rescheduled National Novice and Juvenile Cross Country Championships this Sunday
action begins at 11-30am with races in the Uneven Ages from u11 to u19 and there are 8 Clare teams involved here with St Johns, Kilmurray Ibrickane/North Clare, and Ennis Track Club in the Inter Club Section.
The Novice ladies will be run over a distance of 3000 meters and will commence
at 1 . 15 pm, and this will be followed by the Novice Mens race 6000 meters at 1 . 35pm.
Claire Madigan St Johns has her sights set on this National Title with Kenneth Rodgers St Johns and Michael Shannon Kilnaboy, Fergal Smithwick Marian and Brian Murphy Ennis Track leading out a good Clare Challenge in this National Novice race.
