Draws For 2017 GAA Championships

The draws have been made for the 2017 GAA championships. 

Both Clare sides have been handed derby ties for their openers.

Donal Moloney & Gerry O'Connor will make their championship debut as joint Clare senior managers against Limerick in the Munster Hurling Semi Final. 

It will see them in direct opposition with their former coach during that Golden U21 run, Paul Kinnerk who is now working with John Kiely in his native county.  

Elsewhere, Wexford and their new manager Davy Fitzgerald will face one of the qualifier group teams in the Leinster Quarter Final. 

The winners of that face Kilkenny in the last four. 

Galway take on Dublin in the other side of the draw. 

In football, Colm Collins Clare side will take on Limerick in the Munster Quarter Final, with Kerry awaiting in the last four.

It's the third year in a row that Clare will face Limerick in the championship.  

Fixture details will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
