Draws made for the next round of the Clare Senior Hurling Championship

The draw for the next round of the Clare SHC has thrown up some interesting ties

The 2012 champions Newmarket on Fergus have been drawn against the 2011 champions Crusheen in the quarter finals of this years championship.

There’s an east Clare derby in store as 2008 champions Clonlara take on O’Callaghans Mills.

Parish pride will be on the line when Ballyea meet Clarecastle, while the meeting of Eire Óg and Cratloe will see one of their dual title hopes ended.

In the battle for survival in the senior ranks, Broadford will take on Clooney Quin, St Josephs Doora Barefield meet Kilmaley, and Whitegate face Tulla. Wolfe Tones received an unwanted bye to the final round of the relegation battle.

The games have been provisionally scheduled to take place in two weeks time.
