Ennis boxers have moved a step closer to claiming an elusive hat-trick of titles this afternoon when Brian McDonagh emphatically captured the 54 Kilo Boy 2 title with a third round KO against Connaught Champion Cathal Griffin from the Connemara club in Rosmuc.
McDonagh joins Conor Doyle who won the 44 kg title last evening on the winners rostrum , and hopes are high that the big-punching Keelan Sexton can capture the 70 kg Boy 3 title later in the evening
