Clonlara defeated St Joseph’s by 1-19 to 0-9,with Darach Honan grabbing his sides goal.
Clonlara ended the game with 13 men,Tomas O Donovan sent off just after half time and Cathal O Connell also seeing red at the end of the game.
St Joseph’s Sean Flynn also received a red card after an incident with Domhnall O Donovan.
In group two and Newmarket claimed their first win after they defeated Tulla by 0-12 to 0-11 today .
The Blues led by 0-09 to 0-03 at the break.
