FAI deny row with Scottish F.A over Carling cup fees

The F.A.I have moved to clarify a reported dispute between them and the Scottish F.A regarding the Scots participation fee for the Carling Cup.

The association says they along with the  I.F.A and F.A.W have been in talks with the Scottish fa to share out more evenly the monies generated from the tournament.

The FAI also claim, that reports of " a lack of contact are incorrect as are claims that this issue is linked to UEFA EURO 2012 prize money."

Reports had suggested that the Scots were owed over a million euro.

Chelsea say John Terry will be fit to face Spurs this Thursday despite limping out of traing today.

The club say the former England capatin  hurt  his achilles blocking a shot, the 31 year old was already carrying a knee injury.

Blackburn defender Scott Dann has been ruled out for six weeks with a groin injury.
