Fallon attacker to face BHA on Monday

 

The man who attacked Kieran Fallon at last weeks race meeting at Lingfield is to face  the  British Horseracing Authority on Monday after being charged with two breaches of the rules of racing in relation to the incident.

David Reynolds, owner of The Scorching Wind, the 3-1 favourite who eventually finished ninth, approached Fallon, the rider of last-placed Elna Bright in the unsaddling enclosure where he is reported to have punched Fallon in the face

The charges against Reynolds are the first ever brought by the BHA against an owner and he could face a ban from the sport for his actions if found guilty.
