Clare senior management are putting the finishing touches to their preparations ahead of their seasonal début against UL this Sunday in the Waterford Crystal Cup.
Clare take on the students four weeks ahead of their league opener with Waterford as a senior member of the backroom team admits staying in Div 1 in 2013 is the county’s top priority.
Cratloe’s Mike Deegan feels the county’s overall ambitions for the year will be determined by how well they do in Division one of the league :

Last night in the opening q-final of the Waterford Crystal Cup LIT defeated Kerry 1-25 to 3-7
LIT now go on to the semi-final to play Tipperary or Limerick on the weekend of February 2 / 3.
