Davy Fitzgerald has dismissed speculation linking him with the Clare senior hurling manager’s job following the resignation of Ger O Loughlin earlier this week.
Fitzgerald is preparing his Waterford side for Sunday’s Munster final against Tipperary and told the Daily Star that he is enjoying his time with the Deise and is fully committed to them at the current time.
The Sixmilebridge man also paid tribute to Sparrow remarking that his former inter county teammate took on a tough job and ahd rid the panel of complacency .
