Clare hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald has revealed he has no plans to alter his management style or to remove himself from the sidelines while he is in charge of the county side
Speaking on Clare Fm’s Sideline View last night the Sixmilebridge man reacted to suggestions that he is a distraction on the sideline to Clare and that the team would be better seved if his selectors were on the sideline
Its an idea that the former All star firmly rejects.
The Clare boss also reacted to the latest comments from John Mullane that suggested that Fitzgerald had criticised the waterford in the build up to last sunday’s Munster semi final.
The two time All ireland winner felt that the De La Salle man may have been somewhat guillable to believe what he was hearing about the Clare set up :
Meanwhile the Gaa are set to ask RTE why they focused so heavily on Fitzgerald’s language during last week’s loss to Waterford.
The Sunday Game TV show "investigated" reports of foul language from the Clare boss during the game and the Ex waterford manager admitted last night that he wasn’t proud of what was picked up on microphone
However he feels that he was unfairly treated by RTE.
