Clubs in Clare will gather this evening to vote on the adoption of a new 5 year strategic plan for Clare GAA.
The report, which was published in recent weeks, proposes a drastic overhaul of the administrative structures of Clare GAA, with new full time positions of a CEO, Commercial Manager and Finance Manager all forming part of the document.
There are also proposals to evaluate the benefits of moving the administrative base of the association in the county from Clareabbey to Caherlohan, along with plans to finish the Tulla facility to a high standard.
The Special Convention is due to get underway this evening in Hotel Woodstock at 6.30pm with all attendees required to produce proof of a Covid-19 vaccination.
