Munster Head Coach Anthony Foley has paid tribute to fellow Killaloe man Damien Varley who's been forced to announce his retirement through injury.
The 31 year old hooker expressed sadness at the news last evening but said he was hugely thankful for all the memories, and for the support received throughout his career.

In a statement Anthony Foley descrbied Varley as a highly regarded and talented individual, who always led by example with his attitude, professionalism and work ethic on and off the field.
