There's been a broad welcome to the news that Clare has been chosen as the venue for the 2016 Munster Poc Fada Tournament.
The event will be held in Carron in July, near the ancestral home of the founder of the GAA Michael Cusack.

The Clare championship will also be held there in June.
Clare GDA and U21 selector Peter Casey is one of those involved in the committee, he says former Munster chairman Robert Frost played a huge role in securing the event.
