The Munstergroup Clare Community Games had a very successful weekend in Athlone at the HSE Community Games National finals.
Clare was represented by 104 children from 20 areas across the County in Athletics Track & Field, Mixed Tag Rugby & Boys Rounders. They brought home a total of 52 medals – 15 Gold, 21 Silver, 4 Bronze & 12 4th place medals. The first medal of the weekend was won on Sat by Kate Taylor when she produced a personal best in the Long Jump to secure a Bronze medal. Kate also won a Silver in Tag Rugby.
