There were two games in the county senior football championship this evening as the first two quarter-final berths were secured.
Last year’s finalists Ennistymon were 2-13 to 0-8 winners over Cooraclare thanks to goals from midfielders Cathal Malone and David Fitzgerald.

And Kilmurry/Ibrickane have advanced to the final eight as they ran out comfortable 2-16 to 0-6 victors over Corofin.
