St. Joseph’s Miltown Malbay are back in the county senior football final after beating Doonbeg 1-16 to 1-12 in Cusack Park.
Cormac Murray’s goal on 58 minutes finally settled the tie that looked secured at half-time as the defending champions lead 0-13 to 0-5.
But a spirited second half effort from Doonbeg saw them reduce arrears through Shane Ryan, David and Eoghan Tubridy.
Eoghan Tubridy struck an injury time goal for the Magpies but they could never get within four points.
Miltown Malbay will face the winners of tomorrow’s meet of Cratloe and Kilmurry/Ibrickane in the final.
