Mounting Calls For GAA To Run Off Munster & Other Provincial Championships

There are mounting calls for the GAA to allow Sixmilebridge and other club champions across Munster to take part in a provincial championship this year.

The Bridge claimed the Canon Hamilton cup over the weekend, with coach Davy Fitzgerald saying he’d like to see a rethink of the decision not to hold All Ireland club championships in 2020.

The decision not to run provincial tournaments was made as the GAA struggles to run off all games at both club and intercounty level before the end of the calendar year.
