2013 All Star Colm Galvin has confirmed he will miss at least part of Clare's championship campaign this year, as he leaves for Boston on April 28th.
The Clonlara man, who has won 3 U21 and 1 Senior All Ireland title with the Banner, says he feels the time is right to spend a summer abroad, after club, intercounty and college commitments prevented him doing so in the past.

He told Clare FM it wasn't an easy decision to make, but hasn't decided how long he will spend stateside.
