Galway and Kilkenny set for All Ireland showdown

For the first time since 2012, Galway will contest an All Ireland Hurling final.

Just like three years ago, a Kilkenny side looking to retain the Liam McCarthy Cup will be their opponents.

The Cats have already beaten Galway in this year's Championship, with a seven-point win in the Leinster final.

Tribesman manager Anthony Cunningham knows his defenders can't allow Kilkenny space to create scores today.

Throw-in at Croke Park is at 3.30.

Galway are involved in the Minor final as well this afternoon – they face Tipperary with throw-in at 1.15.
