The row surrounding capital investment for Clare’s clubs continues following last night’s meeting of the county board.
The GAA has awarded 250 thousand euro in grant funding to clubs in the county – it will be used to fund ten seperate projects.
While there’s been no deal on which clubs will benefit, a process to administer it has been agreed

An independent assessor, most likely from outside the county, will be appointed to set criteria for the funding and then to decide which projects will proceed.
However it’s believed that this process could run for a number of months, meaning that a resolution to the row is unlikely to occur in the near future.
