It appears reports that Aston Villa winger Jack Grealish was committing himself to Ireland were premature.
It was widely reported in today's papers that the 19 year old who signed a new 4 year deal with Villa during the week was going to play against the USA next month in a friendly however the player himself has expressed reservations about the articles.

Grealish who qualifies for Ireland through his Galway Grandfather and who has played all his underage football with Ireland said on twitter "Some stuff in the papers today about me that I didn't even no myself"
