A Clareman is putting the finishing touches to his preparations for his professional boxing debut this weekend.
Martin Hannon of Shannon will take on Donegal’s Mickey Doherty in a light middleweight contest in Galway this Saturday.
Saturday’s event at Leisureland is only the second pro boxing event to be held in Galway, and Martin’s told Clare FM that he’s hoping it will mark the beginning of big things for him, with an Irish Title his ultimate goal.
