Ennis golfer Valerie Hassett is captaining the ireland team at the 2010 European Ladies Team Championships – they tee off at La Manga in Spain today and run until Saturday
Hassett is aiming to improve on last year’s final placing of 17th when the first of two 18 hole stroke play qualifying rounds commences this morning.

The Ennis golfer is captaining a seven-strong Irish team which includes recent national champion Mary Dowling of New Ross.
