Ladies National Football League – Saturday, 16th March 2019
Armagh 3-11 Clare 2-10
Clare mounted a stunning comeback in Dromintee today but still came up short as Armagh won 3-11 to 2-10 in the Ladies National Football League Division 2.
After trailing 1-10 to 0-4, two goals, including one from Niamh O’Dea, brought them back and they led 2-10 to 1-10 to with eight minutes remaining.
But goals from Aimee Mackin and Aoife McCoy rescued the tie for the Orchard County.
It leaves Clare sitting in seventh place with just two points from four games before they host Tyrone next weekend.
Great game and congrats to Armagh, hard luck Clare, you mounted some comeback https://t.co/qOCLE6nW75
