Horse Warns KIB Can’t Squander Scoring Chances In Clare SFC Final

Kilmurry Ibrickane manager Aidan Horse Moloney is warning they have to be more clinical in front of goal in this weekends Clare Senior Football Final.

The champions are looking to put titles back to back for the third time in the last 10 years, having won their first title since 2012 last season.

It remains to be seen if defender Ciaran Morrissey will recover in time from a hamstring injury sustained in the semi final win over Cratloe while there are also doubts over the fitness of forward Michael O’Dwyer.

Moloney feels they’ll need a big performance from every sector if they’re to retain their title.

Meanwhile Clondegad manager Mikey Hehir is hoping to extend a fairytale 12 months for the area as they look forward to a first ever Clare football final.

Several of the squad are facing into a fifth major final in the last year with a number of the squad having featured in Ballyea’s run to the All Ireland Club Hurling decider.

Hehir says that has led a brilliant atmosphere in the community
