Important day for the footballers and hurlers of St. Flannan’s.

Saint Flannan’s footballers are in action in the Quarter Finals of the Corn Ui Mhuiri competition today.

They take on Tralee CBS at Glin  – the game begins at 2:30.

It’s fifteen years since Flannan’s were last crowned the best football side in Munster and the Ennis school is now two games away from reaching the final.

Meanwhile, though Flannan’s’ hurlers aren’t in action today, they will learn their opponents in the upcoming Harty Cup semi final.

Ardscoil Rís of Limerick will field a number of Clare players, including Jamie Shanahan of Sixmilebridge in their Quarter Final clash against Thurles CBS

Throw in at Tipperary town is at 2.30.p.m.
