Irish Teams Named For Weekends Heineken Cup Action

Rob Penney has made four changes to the Munster side for their crunch clash with Perpignan in the Heineken Cup tomorrow.

Donnacha Ryan comes into the starting 15 after recovering from a knee ligament injury to replace Donnacha O’Callaghan in the second row.

Cathal Sheridan replaces the injured Conor Murray at scrum half, while James Cronin and South African BJ Botha start in the front row, replacing Dave Kilcoyne and Stephen Archer.

Ian Keatley, as expected, has recovered from the dead leg he sustained last weekend to start at out-half.

Connacht Lock Michael Swift says a bout of flu in the squad will not be an excuse as they welcome Toulouse to the Sportsground tomorrrow.

Head Coach Pat Lam has named his side for the return leg of the back-to-back fixtures, and makes three changes to the side that capured the historic 16-14 win in France last weekend.

All these changes come in the pack, Jason Harris-Wright and Rodney Ah You come in to the front row in place of Sean Henry and Nathan White who drop to the bench.

Galway-man Eoin McKeon has been named to start at Number 8.

Leinster coach Matt O’Connor has named an unchanged team for his side’s clash with the Northampton Saints tomorrow.

Jamie Heaslip leads an all-Ireland team again, after last week’s win against the English side in Franklin’s Gardens.

It’s another case of as you were for Ulster and their return clash with Benetton Treviso tomorrow.

It’s the first time Coach Mark Anscombe has named the same squad for two consecutive matches, after last week’s comprehensive victory over the Italians.

There are two games taking place tonight in the Heineken Cup.

Glasgow Warriors host the Cardiff Blues, while the Osprey’s are playing Castres.

Both games get underway at 8pm.
