The Clare Senior Hurling team will have joint captains in 2015.
O'Callaghans Mills Pat Donnellan, who lifted Liam McCarthy in 2013, and Crusheen's Cian Dillon will share the role for the coming year.
The vice captaincy will also be shared, with Tubber's Pat O'Connor and Cratloe's Conor McGrath named as joint vice captains.
The decision was taken in an effort to distribute the responsibilites of the roles as widely as possible throughout the team.
The Clare Senior Hurlers will have their first official team meeting this Friday, ahead of their first training session on December 1st.
Sources close to the camp have also told Clare FM that there are a number of new faces in the squad, and that all those who were asked to be part of the 2015 panel have accepted the invitation.
