The efforts of a key player in two county victories over the weekend has been heralded.
Kilfenora’s Cian O’Dea kept Clare’s footballers in contention with a goal when they were trailing Waterford in the first half of yesterday’s McGrath Cup clash, just hours after he was instrumental for Clare in Soccer’s Oscar Traynor Cup.
He headed a David McCarthy corner into the back of the net to seal Clare’s 2-1 victory over Limerick Desmond on Saturday, which secured them a home quarter final fixture in February.
