Leinster have confirmed the retirement of Lions and Ireland winger Luke Fitzgerald.
The province say after an incident in the Guinness PRO12 Final in which he suffered a neck injury he has been advised to retire on medical grounds.

In a statement former Lion Fitzgerald says the support he got whilst playing during the good times and the tough times is something he'll cherish and never forget for the rest of his life.
