Clare are celebrating a new World Champion after 18-year-old Liam Alford won the World Kickboxing Crown.
After an explosive 12-round battle with reigning champion Dylan Cheema (SHEEMA), he secured a split decision to win his first professional crown.
What made the achievement more remarkable was it was his debut after winning multiple titles at amateur level.
