Kilmihil captain Stan Lineen has hailed the influence of former coach Michael O’Shea after they were crowned Clare Intermediate Football champions.
Former county star O’Shea had been involved with the west Clare outfit, but was forced to stand down from the role having suffered an illness earlier this year.
A dominant performance from Kilmihil saw them overcome Kilrush in the final, and gave them their first title at the grade since 2008.
