Wales’ George North then scored a stunning individual effort to put the Lions ahead.

Folau scored another brilliant try to keep the Australians within a point at the break.

In the second half Alex Cuthbert got the Lions’ second try to help keep them in front along with Leigh Halfpenny’s kicking.

Kurtley Beale let the Lions off the hook – he slipped while kicking a potential game-winning penalty in the final minute.
