Liscannor were victorious in their Clare Senior Football Championship relegation play-off with Wolfe Tones last night.
The North Clare side won by a point, 1-6 to 0-8.
Staying with football, two games scheduled for tomorrow have been postponsed. The under-21 Quarter-Final between Cratloe and Kilmihil/Shannon Gaels/Killimer has been moved to Monday October 14th.
The Junior B Championship Quarter-Final between Killimer and Kildysart has also been postponed.
Clarecastle were crowned Clare Under-21 B Hurling Champions last night, beating Feakle/Killanena 3-18 to 2-10. Steven Ward scored 2 goals, and Bobby Duggan 12 points.
Cratloe scored the last five points of their game against St. Joseph’s Doora/Barefield to claim the Junior A title 2-11 to 0-15.
