James McClean will start for Ireland in tomorrow’s friendly international against Bosnia.
The Sunderland winger will get a chance to stake a claim in Giovanni Trapattoni’s first-choice team after being chosen ahead of Aiden McGeady for the game at the Aviva Stadium.
Richard Dunne and Sean St Ledger have both shaken-off their injury concerns to start in defence, while Paul McShane is named at right-back after his emergency call-up to the Ireland squad.
As expected, Kieren Westwood will deputise for Shay Given in goal while Darron Gibson partners Glen Whelan in midfield.
Damien Duff is named on the opposite wing to McClean (pr: McClane) while Robbie Keane and Kevin Doyle will lead the attack.
