In gaelic games and Clare forward Conor Mc Grath was admitted to hospital with kidney damage on Saturday following the Clare cup tie with Newmarket.
Mc Grath received a red card in the first half of the 1-17 to 2-08 loss and was subsequently sent to hospital but was released yesterday

A club spokesperson has confirmed that the forward will require further tests this week to determine the extent of his injury.

Kilkenny’s Richie Powers will undergo further assessment today after picking up a knee injury playing for his club yesterday.
The Carrickshock forward was taken to hospital and latter a cryo therapy chamber for treatment on the knee damage he sustained during the game.
Kilkenny meet Cork in the league final on Sunday.
