Sycerika McMahon has won a bronze medal at the European Shortcourse Championships in France.
The teenager from County Down finished in third place in the final of the women’s 50 metre breaststroke this evening.

McMahon’s time of 30.34 seconds was her third national record over the distance in the same day.
Earlier, she had finished her heat in 30.88 seconds, before touching the wall in the her semi-final in 30.56 sec
