James McCarthy is out of next week's Euro qualifier with Gibraltar.
The Everton midfielder suffered a tightening of his quad during last weekend's Merseyside derby and hasn't been included in Martin O'Neill's revised 27-man squad for Saturday's game at the Aviva.

Seamus Coleman is included, despite missing recent games following a concussion and soft tissue problems.
McCarthy's fitness will be monitored ahead of the game with Germany three days later.
