The chairman of Clare GAA has welcomed the news of a funding boost for the redevelopment of Cusack Park and the new Center of Excellence in Caherlohan.
The Irish Examiner reports today that half a million euro will be granted to Clare for the projects from the Munster Council.

The funds will go toward the overall cost of completing the floodlight center of excellence which will eventually play host to preperations for Clare's county teams, along with the revamp of the county grounds.
Chairman Michael McDonagh says the work on Cusack Park is long overdue.
