McGann Admits Lack Of Competitive Game Hurt Clare As Premier Junior Campaign Comes To An End

Clare’s joint junior camogie manager admits not having enough championship game time was a factor in their bid for a place in the All Ireland final coming up short.

Armagh proved too strong from Ann Marie McGann and Tim McGrath’s outfit as the Ulster side ran out 2-13 to 1-6 winners in their last four showdown.

Clare came into the game having played just one match in the group stages, while Armagh built momentum in a more prolonged campaign.

McGann felt it was an issue, and says it is disappointing to bow out in that fashion.
