McGrath Looks For Improvement In Deise Charges As Banner Clash Part III Looms

Waterford boss Derek McGrath insists his side are still a work in progress as they continue preperations for the Munster Semi Final against Clare.

The sides will meet in Thurles on June 5th, having already crossed swords twice in the Allianz National Hurling League Finals.

Davy Fitzgerald is sweating on the availability of a number of key players, with doubts remaining over the fitness of John Conlon, David McInerney and Aaron Cunningham.

Deise boss McGrath says hes hopeful they can continue on an upward curve.

Elsewhere in hurling,

Tipperary manager Michael Ryan says they want to keep their momentum going after yesterdays 9 point win against Cork in the Munster quarter final.

The Premier will play Limerick in the semi final next month and Ryan is glad to have got their Championship season off to a good start.
