Starting with Hurling news and a possible change to the master fixtures plan will be the key topic up for discussion at tonight’s special county board meeting in Ennis.
The Clare joint minor managers have confirmed to Clare Fm they will be in attendance but it is unclear if they will be asked to speak while intermediate boss Kevin Kennedy is also likely to be present this evening.
Round two of the county senior and intermediate football championship’s has been fixed for August 13th which is also the date fixed for the All Ireland intermediate semi final between Clare and Galway.
The Clare minor hurlers are also in action on either the 7th or 14th of August which has lead to tonights special meeting which will require a vote by clubs on any possible change to the plan agreed earlier this year.
