Mills Hoping To Grind Out Result To Keep Hopes Of Relegation Escape Alive

O’Callaghan’s Mills will be looking to keep their hopes of escaping the relegation battle in the Clare senior hurling championship alive this weekend.

The East Clare men are without a point on the board after their three games to date, and know that defeat to Kilmaley will see them consigned to the trapdoor playoffs.

It would leave the Mills in the relegation picture for the second time in the last three years, but 2020 saw them go all the way to the county final.

Clare FM analyst Tommy Guilfoyle feels they have not built on that progress from 12 months ago.
