Miltown St Joseph’s began their defense of the Cusack cup title yesterday with a home draw against 2010 Garry cup champions Kilrush.
St Josephs Doorabarefield also began life in the top tier with a draw against Kilmurray Ibrickane while there were wins for Doonbeg and Clondegad

In The Garry cup meanwhile Cooraclare beat wolfe Tones on saturday evening while yesterday saw wins for Eire Og over O Curry’s,while Ennistymon and St Senan’s also won their respective games.
