The Banner fought against Cork, bringing the game to extra-time but lost out 2-11 to 2-8.

There was better luck for Clare in Division 3 of the Littlewoods Ireland Camogie League.
They secured a first win of the campaign against Tyrone, 3-16 to 4-03 the final score.
