Italy’s Matteo Monassero yesterday became the youngest ever winner of the BMW PGA Championship.
The 20 year old clinched victory only after four play-off holes.

He had finished the final round tied on 10 under with Marc Warren and Simon Khan.
Shane Lowry had a disappointing finish.
The Offaly man was right in the thick of it until a double-bogey on the 17th saw him finish back on 6 under in a tie for 12th.
Over on the PGA Tour Boo Weekley won the Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial.
He finished on 14 under, 1 shot ahead of Matt Kuchar.
