Everton manager Roberto Martinez says James McCarthy will be in the squad to face Liverpool on Saturday night.
The Irish international has missed recent games due to a hamstring injury and today Martinez dismissed reports that the injury had got worse.
Last night Liverpool beat Bolton 2-1 to reach the FA cup fifth round where they'll play Crystal Palace.

In Gaelic games
The second round of the Fitzgibbon Cup will take place this afternoon.
The University of Limerick will host GMIT.
St Pats-Mater Dei take-on Cork IT, UCD host arch-rivals DCU at Belfield, while DIT go up against LIT at Parnells and NUIG face UCC.
Those games will all throw-in at 2pm.
There's also a half-past two start between Mary I and Waterford IT.
The late throw-in this evening is between Maynooth University and IT Carlow at half-past seven.
