Irish motorcyclist Derek Brien has been killed in an accident at the Isle of Man TT races.

The 34 year old from Bellewstown, Co. Meath, crashed on the first lap of today’s opening Super sport event, with the race being red-flagged afterwards.
A former Manx Grand Prix winner and a regular competitor on the Isle of Man, Brien is the third rider to die at this year’s TT.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
