Diarmuid Nash has beaten Mayo’s Stephen Cooney in the 40×20 Mens Open Singles Championships Last 16 yesterday evening to advance to the quarter final stage of the All Ireland Handball Championship.
The Tuamgraney man won his match last night in Kingscourt on a scoreline of 21 14 21 05 and will now play Dominick Lynch of Kerry on Saturday in Broadford in Limerick.
