Clare’s Diarmuid Nash claimed the National’s handball title in Kingscourt on Sunday evening defeating Brian Carrol after a tie break.
The Tumagraney clubman lost the opener 15-21 but battled back to win the second set 21-11 and then wrapped up the win scoring 11-3 in the tie break.

It is the Clare man’s first success in the tournament having previoulsy lost a final in 2011 to Robbie Mc Carthy
